Youth Voices at the Centre: The "SafeLine" Project on Radio Kosova

Participant Ajla Kolašinac spoke on Radio Kosova's podcast about digital safety, the effect of social media on mental health, and what intercultural exchange looks like from the inside.

One of the core aims of the project "SafeLine Kamenica–Sarajevo: Youth Digital Safety and Mental Health" is to strengthen the voice of young people and create spaces where they can share their experiences, ideas and perspectives on issues that directly affect their lives.

As part of that effort, Ajla Kolašinac, a participant from Bosnia and Herzegovina, was invited onto Radio Kosova's podcast, where she spoke about her experience of the youth exchange and the activities carried out during the project.

During the interview, Ajla shared her reflections on the importance of digital safety in the daily lives of young people, the impact social media can have on mental health, and the value of intercultural cooperation in building understanding and lasting connections among young people across the region.

Her appearance on the programme underlines why young people belong in public debate, and why their perspectives need to be heard more widely — particularly when the subject is the challenges and opportunities of the digital world.

We thank Radio Kosova for the space it offered and for its support in promoting young voices, and Ajla for representing the project and its messages with such poise.

Through partnerships and activities of this kind, the project continues to create opportunities for dialogue, learning and cooperation between young people from Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, promoting digital safety, mental health and active youth participation in society.
