Call for applications for the “Womair” workshop: Girls and Women fight Air Pollution (Apply here: https://lnkd.in/gUBh-Bg)
According to the World Health Organization, air pollution in indoor and outdoor spaces kills over 7 million people a year. In terms of air quality, Prishtina has been ranked as one of the top most polluted cities in Europe. Considering the negative effects of air pollution in pregnant women and those who plan to have children, we will be hosting an educational workshop and creating a series of educational videos.
We invite women who are currently pregnant or plan to be, to take part in the “Womair” educational workshop, where they will have the opportunity to learn about the most effective ways to improve indoor and outdoor air quality.
The call for applications is open till: Sunday, August 18th 2019.
This activity is part of the “Healthy Kosovo” project, which is financed by the LuxDev – Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency and is implemented by UNDP Kosovo, UN Volunteers, and World Health Organization (WHO).
