The U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, on behalf of U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), in Partnership with Kosovo’s Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, will announce the establishment of the United States-Kosovo Educational Exchange Board (USKEB) on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 3 p.m. CEST (Kosovo Time). The USKEB launch event will be held virtually, and live streamed via the U.S. Embassy’s Facebook page. The launch will consist of an introduction of the initiative, namely increasing mutual understanding and advancing relations between the people of the United States and Kosovo through educational exchange programming.
During the event, attendees will hear from the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Philip S. Kosnett, Kosovo’s Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mrs. Arberie Nagavci, the inaugural USKEB board, and U.S.-Kosovo educational exchange alumni representing the Fulbright Program in Kosovo. In addition, the USKEB’s launch will mark the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Fulbright Program.
