In Decan around 30 youth partook in our interactive media education workshop about fakenews. Following the lecture held by three of our trained beneficiaries from our women empowerment programs, Artiola Babuni, Fitore Bekteshi and Foleta Berisha, participants used the methodology created by Annea Hapciu, to increase their knowledge about identifying, evaluating and analyzing fakenews.
Participants were also encourage to factcheck information, through various online platforms and applications before creating, consuming and spreading information on social media.
This Media Education workshop is part of a series of five workshops that will be held with youth and educators in: Kaçaniku, Malisheva, Vitia, Skenderaj, Deçani, Prishtina dhe Prizren.
