In the premises of HANDIKOS, it is held the ceremony of donating 70 wheelchairs for the persons with disabilities, donated by the State of Israel.
In the presence of the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi and the director of HANDIKOS, Afrim Maliqi, the ambassador of the State of Israel in the Republic of Kosovo, Tamara Ziv, described the importance of this donation, while emphasizing that the State of Israel is ready to help children in need and assist in other services based on their needs.
Also, Minister Elbert Krasniqi thanked Ambassador Ziv and the State of Israel for the donation, mentioning the importance of these wheelchairs for children in need. Additionally, Minister Krasniqi mentioned that the government has declared this year as the year of people with special needs and the commitment to help in this direction will be maximal.
In the end, the Director of HANDIKOSI, Afrim Maliqi, emphasized that they welcome this donation and that this donation will be distributed in Pristina and other municipalities, through cooperation with pediatrics to see where the needs are, and thus cover them by this donation.
