Citizens in Prishtina, capitol of Kosovo, continue to find their way around via address system, for they are not informed about the new names of the streets. Prishtina`s citizen Njazi Biqku, who lives in “Bregu i Diellit” (Sunny Hill), says that while driving his taxi through neighbourhoods, streets and alleys of Prishtina, his main points of orientation are well known landmarks such as former “Rilindja” building, former “Banka e Lubjanës”, Te Plepat, Xhamia e Llapit and others, and he can never use the new names set by the municipality.

Though not a scientific sample, 46 of respondents in the survey regard religion as an important part of their lives, 30 as of average importance, whereas 24 as not important at all. “I have worked since the age of 18 and I would say that finding a job was not as a big problem as to getting paid at the end of the month. Dire economic conditions and the way of the living made me depart to Canada. Based on the position of women in Kosovo society, in general which is characterized by economic interdependence and lack of decision-making, Burim Ramadani believes that it is quite evident that these women mainly fall prey to violent influence, and ideas by those already radicalized. Jakupi from KCSS agrees, considering that in a pursuit of a longer-term solution, we as a society must deal with the position of women, and try to empower women both in economical and educational aspect.
