According to the law for the Railways of Kosovo, “Trainkos” is obliged to provide revenues by the tickets sold to passengers. A part of the revenues should be provided by “Infrakos” services, but also by the government or any public authority as a financial compensation for offering transport services for the general interest, or any other revenue or contribution from the public or private sector.

The number of job-seekers in Kosovo is higher than the number of available jobs. The statistics from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) show that in the previous year alone, 101,773 job seekers were registered, whereas this year there were only 425 jobs that were publicly announced.

Even the correctional center needs some “corrections”
Majlindë Lulaj, head of the Media and Public Relations Office at Obudsperson Kosovo, says that the conditions in the correctional center have changed. She says that in the last visit to this center on May 2, 2017, the hygiene level was satisfactory in all of the buildings where the minors stayed. However, the window mechanisms were still damaged.
Kosovo women are not free from stigma associated with divorce
“My relatives told me that I was doing the right thing by getting a divorce. I wasn’t the one who started the divorce procedures, it was my wife. Marriage has its obligations and everyone who knew her told her that she should have sacrificed more to keep the family together since she was the mother of two children,” he adds.
Lack of moral and financial support is pushing people to abandon their children
“I can’t understand how these mothers don’t show love to their children, how they decide to abandon them so easily. The woman, with whom I shared the room, hadn’t brought any clothes for her newborn, not even a towel to wrap the baby. She didn’t even want to hold the baby,” says Fitore.

During this training the students learned how to detect fake news, what are their types, what are the dangers that they can cause, and ways on how they can protect themselves and others on not falling prey of fake news.
CircMedia – “Design thinking” workshop
These 20 young boys and girls from throughout Kosovo, worked in four teams to ideate new age media products that might not damage the environment, but even help it flourish. They looked at ways that they could make laptops use less energy, create professional cameras that use solar energy, decrease protective packaging for projectors and even invent a “botanical” billboard.
